Yay it’s my most favourite time of the year! And although I may be 11 days late to start posting Christmas content, I thought it was about time I start… (sorry i’ve been gone for so long, I haven’t been feeling all that inspired or motivated, but I am back now, feeling refreshed and ready to start posting weekly again!)
In today’s post I want to talk to you about Christmas films, specifically my top 5 favourite. So in case any of you guys haven’t seen any of these yet… just know that you need to watch them and you will not regret it! Well at least I hope you won’t…. haha
So let’s begin, these aren’t really in any specific order apart from number 1, which is my absolute favourite!
So firstly, Will Ferrell plays the main character (Buddy) which straight away means i’m gonna love it, because Will Ferrell is one of my favourites! But this film is so funny, has such a sweet storyline and is perfect to watch with your family, or on your own! I watch it on my own all of the time because apparently people don’t enjoy watching the same film over and over again…. haha
2. The Holiday
Oh what a good film, it is a rom-com so it’s not everyones taste but I absolutely love The Holiday! It’s got a great cast, Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law and Jack Black , plus it’s filmed in both LA and the cutest, most picturesque looking village in England. It’s not the most crazily festive film ever, but it does feature snow and Christmas trees and still gets me in the Christmas spirit:)
3. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
This film is hilarious! Jim Carrey plays the Grinch and as you may have guessed, he’s amazing at this role… I mean it’s such a Christmassy film which is perfect to watch with the whole family, and any film that is super funny is always gonna be one of my favourites!
4. Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas
I don’t even know how many times I have binge watched this film! It’s perfect, it’s Disney, it’s Christmas and it’s just wonderful… All of your favourite classic Disney characters are in it and it’s just so festive and fun to watch! Plus anything Disney is always a good idea:)
5. Home Alone
Okay so i’m sure all of you have seen this, because it’s probably one of the most well known Christmas films… But Home Alone is just a must in my mum’s home! I mean it warms your heart, it’s funny, sometimes a little scary for me when I was little (because I was and still am a total wimp) It’s just a really lovely Christmas film and there’s nothing similar to it out there, so you couldn’t possibly get bored watching it!
